What Is A Super Affiliate?

The definition of a super affiliate probably goes something like this: someone who is a really smart affiliate marketer and makes a lot of money.

As a rough definition, that's probably OK but we need to discover more than that. What is it that determines whether or not an affiliate can reach that exalted status of 'super affiliate'?

That's what we are going to find out.

To expand a little on our previous definition - super affiliates are very successful affiliate marketers who make 6 or 7 figure incomes. They also attract the attention of people launching new products. These people are very keen to get the affiliate to promote their products.

What are the key characteristics of a super affiliate?

Overall, one has to say that it is all about mindset which exhibits the following features:

  • they aim to get to know the people in their chosen niche(s) and try to help them
  • they treat their marketing efforts as a business and have a very disciplined approach to making it successful
  • they have a business plan and a daily or weekly schedule so that they have a clear list of tasks to be accompllshed in any given time frame
  • they work both harder and smarter than those who are less successful
  • they are very consistent in their approaches and presentations, creating confidence amongst their visitors
  • They have learned to think outside the box in solving problems and generating new approaches
  • they focus at all times on building a list of subscribers
  • they are skilled at finding products and programs to promote
  • they receive offers from merchants seeking to launch a product

So what does it take to become a super affiliate?

The quick answer to that is simply - a little training!

But let's think about that a little. Training comes in a variety of types and quality. There is plenty of information available that offers training for affiliate marketers. However, one needs to carefully evaluate what is on offer and whether or not you can commit to it.

The problem is that many programs are a bit short on revealing the details of what is included - it's not possible to try before you buy.
